We Love Barbie

We just got back from our wonderful trip to Spokane
where we got to celebrate Barbie's 80th birthday.  
It was actually back in December but this was our first
chance to get the whole family together, sadly Meaghan
& her family couldn't make it but everyone else did
and that is pretty impressive!!

The whole trip was great.  On Thursday we had a 
lovely dinner with just Bob & Barbie followed by 
some fun pinochle.  Everyone else arrived on Friday,
we had a nice dinner with the group, I made my 
new favorite African Peanut Stew and we had a
lovely time catching up.  

On Saturday we had a wonderful day full of shopping,
 laughing & just enjoying Barbie's company. 
That night we did the big dinner out.
The evening was so enjoyable.  We all took turns 
saying what we loved most about Barbie and telling
funny stories that made us think of her.

She really is one of the most amazing
 women I have ever had the pleasure of knowing,

 Barbara Jean Gamble, happy 80th birthday! 
We love you so!

Here we have it, little chick turned 4. It was a fun day packed full of all the  things Ava loves, family, friends,  playing, eating sweets, the day couldn't  of been more perfect. Love our little four year old!! This is going to be a great year. Happy Birthday Baby Girl!

Little girls, big personalities...

 Just one of the family, they fit right in, although they may be too tan. They went in to Costco as Ava & Norah, they left as princesses.   I don't know why Costco thinks we need to start working on Halloween in JULY but that's ok, the kids love dress up more than anything.  They will wear these costumes every. single. day.   Norah even "woke up" from her "nap" wearing it.  That is not what she was wearing when I put her to sleep...  Playing with Audrey. I guess buying them a costume in July isn't that weird since I just recently acquired my costume (great deal from an online garage sale) but it would seem they had to take that over too... Who wore it better???  Ava looks so fierce!
