Crazy Love Gamble-Style

 Ava had her big ballet recital last Sunday.  She did so well!  All these girls were so cute!!  I wasn't supposed to be able to go to this since I had a big relay race the same day but I got done just in time to surprise Ava and see the whole show.  The joy on her face when she saw that I made it there was the best thing ever!  Auntie was also the star of the show for the day, she took over all mom duties and got Ava all ready and through all the crazy rehearsals that morning too.  She is the best!!  She looks so grown up!!  A little Red Robin celebration after, yum!  The rest of these photos are from a rehearsal a few days before the show.  This was also the first time the girls all danced together.  (The blue & white girls are from the next age up class)  Go team! ...

Ava is thrilled to have started a new ballet class.  This one is a tiny bit more serious, each class is an hour and it even has a recital!    This is my first bun, not too shabby!  She is just so dang cute!! Sadly, I knew ahead of time that I would not be able to attend the recital but Ava wasn't concerned about that at all, as long as she got to do the class.  I'm sure she is hoping other family members will come out to see her perform, so please do come, if you can!  May 30th, save the date!  : )

Auntie Jessica was supposed to take Ava to see Cinderella, the ballet on Sunday, however she got stuck in Miami when her flight was cancelled, so I got to take her instead!  What a treat! Ava was initially pretty bummed that Auntie wasn't her date, but I talked up how special it was that we got to go together and she came around pretty quickly to a new level of excitement.   We really don't get to do special things like this together much, so we were both pretty thrilled. The ballet was awesome! So well done!  We both really enjoyed it. I even bought her a special crown to remember the whole thing by, you know Auntie would of done it too!  : ) And the girl was meant to wear a crown I tell you!
