I love walking Ava to school.  It's so nice to get out in the fresh air and just chat while we walk.  Sometimes we get to include Ava's BFF in all this fun, this is Malia, we adore her.  Norah has a lot of fun on our walks too! Here she is hiding behind the recycling bin, waiting to surprise the girls.  They pretty much always know she's there, but they play along.  Malia is so cute!  I just had to take her picture in that same spot I love.  Here they are standing in line before school.  So sweet.  Norah is all about asking for some love these days.  Of course Ava had to get in on that too! Here's a few from last night, the girls love to play doggie.  One is the dog and has to do all kinds of tricks for treats, here Ava is dragging her dog across the floor, looks painful. Ava built this house, which made Norah super sad, she wanted to be in a house too.  I tried exp...

Together.

Pretty typical scene here.   These kids are crazy.    Happily playing together, until something goes wrong.  Someone gets in trouble.  Needs to apologize.   They hug and make up.  Ava picks her up, then they fall over together.   And laugh...  and laugh...  and laugh.   I love the way they love each other! Sweet girls, love them so much!

These girls...

I love to listen to them playing.  They have these conversations like "Ok Norah, you pretend you're my mom, and then you say..." and whatever the instructions are, Norah follows them.  Ava has taught her how to play on a six year old level.  I'm always a little surprised she can keep up.  Then later you hear Norah saying "Ava, let's pretend like I'm dead..."  Um, ok, what? The other day Ava was pretending to be a dog, as they do.  She insisted that dogs love spinach and kept eating and refilling this plate with it!  Yay!! She needs to teach that one to her sister!! Our non-spinach eating dog.   They are each other's little side kick.  Here is Ava putting on "chopstick" for Norah. More playing.  I think Ava was a lion here.  Snuggling in bed with dad.  Carrying miss Norah around. These girls are just so fun, I hope never to forget all these little moments!
