Fun in the Sand

Image
We had the happy surprise of Uncle Jeff joining  us for some playing on the beach, he even brought a little friend for Ava.  She was thrilled.  Helpful tip:  Apple juice and sand are not a great combo.  Good luck getting that cup away from her though. Great day, glad we got to enjoy it before the rain set in.   Please send us some good weather vibes for the weekend : )

Magic.

It's funny what a change of scenery can do for you. I stay home with these kids every. single. day. They can wear on me, I won't lie.   But to be here, with just them, at the beach?? Amazing. It's simply magical.   We are loving every minute of it.  As special as these last few days have been  we are excited to have John join us today.  I love our little family.

Party Time

We had a two birthday parties this weekend, the first was Colton's Five & a Half year party. He was born on Christmas day so this is the  tradition, celebrating the half birthday instead. I think it's brilliant.  The kids had lots of fun with Silly String  We were thrilled that Matt & Rhi got to come!  Pinata Fun!  We also got to hang out with Bayli all weekend, YAY!  The birthday boy.  Love them.  And them.  Oh and HER. Could she be cuter?? Next party was Henry's, he turned 6.  He had a pirate themed party at a glow in  the dark miniature golf place .  It was really cool, also Ava's first time golfing.  As you can imagine, she did really well, look at that  form!  I think the club is backwards...  : )   The place was decorated all scary, Halloween-like. Ava loved it, Henry, not so much.  Such a cute little birthday boy!  Love him. The other

Backyard Fun

Today was too nice not to break out the pool.  Loving the flowers right now.  A dramatic moment.  Can't remember what was said but Ava was not happy about it.  That lasted about 10  seconds.  Love our friends coming over to play.  Every time I got Norah dried off & redressed she jumped  back in the pool.  I finally caught on and poured out the water.  Ava kept pouring water over Norah's head. I asked her to stop but they both couldn't stop laughing and who wants to get in the way of that? That's her guilty smile. : )
