All Dressed Up....

Image
Queen Elsa, always.   Can you spot Norah?  Little sis, riding on the coattails...  I snapped this picture of Ava as she came around the corner, carefully maneuvering her high-heels. When she noticed I was taking her picture she was embarrassed.  She ran around the corner.  That's a little unusual for her, apparently she didn't think this outfit was acceptable.    That really didn't deter me much, I followed her around the corner and snapped two more, are you surprised?  Norah didn't mind getting hers taken.   Ava came back a few minutes later, ready to be in a photo shoot.  Apparently the heels and gloves were too much, the addition of hair and wings made her feel more presentable.   Malia came over to play the other day, the girls of course had to dress up for that too.  Yesterday we went to play at Morgan's house, this time it was all about Frozen. ...

Sleep Over

Ava & Morgan had their first official sleep over together on Friday. They were both thrilled. They were having such a great time playing they barely wanted to leave when I suggested we go to a play place.  We hit up Out of this World for some fun and a bite to eat. We generally don't spend a bunch of extra money on games but we found a game card on the ground and it had $5.00 on it so the kids got to go wild! They all climbed and bounced and ran and played until we tired them out. It was super fun! The sky was beautiful as we headed home.  Off to bed for the three of them, they took half of forever to fall asleep but eventually they all did, I think it was a little after 11, they were all up and at it by 7am, yikes!   First thing they wanted to do?  Play with Play-Dough.   Next pancakes and then off to a field trip with Ava's old preschool class.   This one was at Magnol...

Cookies with Friends.

For extra paranoid mothers I have Ava set up  our tight rope walk to practice on.  Morgan recently broke her arm so I can't  say this went over well, at least for her mom.  I just kept hearing her gasp from the sidelines.   Next time we will hang the trapeze for sure.  The girls were super excited to make cookies together.  I love the little mother/daughter matching profile here.  They are pretty cute together, these girls. Sprinkle tower!  Norah really wanted to be part of this.  How could you not?  She kept picking up the M&Ms and saying "I eat??"  I saw her sneak many...  Princesses. Sweet girl. Such a fun day.  : )
