Children of the Sea ROCKS!!

This week was Ava's last swimming class of the term.
They did a great job, it was her favorite class yet.

They practiced boat safety. They got to pick out a life jacket,
and they even got to wear their clothes in the pool!

I thought it was really funny that Ava didn't question
this clothes in the pool thing at all, she just hopped right in.

Here they are practicing floating like a starfish.

They also taught the kids to hold onto each others
life jackets to be more safe and visible for people
trying to save them. Or create a circle to keep warm.

They got to run and jump off the mat into the pool.

But the best, most favorite part of all?
The boat!

The kids kept screaming "I'm on a boat!"
I kept thinking isn't there a song about that??

They pushed the kids back and forth really fast,
they all loved it!

Then they taught them if they are to fall out of the
boat that they should swim back to it and hold on.
And that they should all stay together.

Good lessons and tons of fun,
really who could ask for anything more from
a swim class? This place really knows what they
are doing. Ava will be starting her next term in January.
I am so impressed with everything she has learned,
can't wait to see what they teach her next!
