The last of our pictures from our great weekend

Sunday we returned home to allow John to get some
work done. The rest of us headed to the park!

After a fun time at the park we headed back to
the house where Grandma Barbie read book after
book to Ava. We both heard her yawn a few times,
then this:
Grandma realizes she is sleeping...

She keeps reading, we were getting to a good part!

The sleeping girl scares me, I KNOW she will wake up GRUMPY!
She did too.
The only thing that pulled her back to my happy girl
was lots of snuggles and promises to see Auntie Jessica.

We had a wonderful dinner, Angi made this amazing
seafood dish that I might try to make some day. It was
so good John & I both took 3rds!

Ava got tired after her star of the show antics and
called it a night for the group.

She pulled us all out the door and went strait to bed when
we got home. That worked in our favor though, we got
to finally give Bob & Barbie their chance to whoop us
at pinochle, much to their delight. : )

What a great weekend, can't wait until the next time
they come to visit!

Birthday Fun

Here we have it, little chick turned 4. It was a fun day packed full of all the  things Ava loves, family, friends,  playing, eating sweets, the day couldn't  of been more perfect. Love our little four year old!! This is going to be a great year. Happy Birthday Baby Girl!

Little girls, big personalities...

 Just one of the family, they fit right in, although they may be too tan. They went in to Costco as Ava & Norah, they left as princesses.   I don't know why Costco thinks we need to start working on Halloween in JULY but that's ok, the kids love dress up more than anything.  They will wear these costumes every. single. day.   Norah even "woke up" from her "nap" wearing it.  That is not what she was wearing when I put her to sleep...  Playing with Audrey. I guess buying them a costume in July isn't that weird since I just recently acquired my costume (great deal from an online garage sale) but it would seem they had to take that over too... Who wore it better???  Ava looks so fierce!
