Great Weekend, Part 2.

Saturday we had a wonderful beach day.
We started out in our usual little spot and took a nice walk.
It was a little cloudy and chilly but this is Oregon after all.

Cutest couple ever.
My girl

My love
Running with Daddy
Giggling with Grandma as they run from the waves
We found this sick bird, Ava loved it, she just thought he was tired.
Walking Lily
Play time
The beast
She is sort of cute
Making race tracks
We went home, de-sanded and then headed out to explore
the town. We ended up at this cool little glass blowing shop.
We got to watch the entire process of decorating, heating and
shaping a glass bowl. It was really interesting. We all thoroughly
enjoyed watching & learning how to make this tricky art work.
Afterward we went across the street to Volta Glass Gallery
and checked out some of the other cool stuff they have made.
After experiencing the process it really makes you appreciate
how difficult each art piece is to make.
Next we walked down to the beach in Taft to fly kites.
The weather was really clearing up!
Ava was really good about posing for me.
Over and over again.

She seemed to dig it.
With Grandma
Check out that blue sky! It was just windy enough for kite flying.
Barbie
More fun in the sand. Good thing she just took a bath.
We had a great day, what better way to end it then dancing!
She is all about being a ballerina now.
She wore herself out.
We let her sleep in the big girl bed.
She was so excited to go to bed.
The first night I explained to her that we were in the
room right next door and if she woke up to come in
there. She didn't listen to me at all. She wandered
down stairs and went into Bob & Barbie's room.
She woke them up and said "I can't find any peoples out there."
They didn't mind though.
The next night I reiterated that she needed to come into our
room, she opened the door, saw we were sleeping and then
slammed the door, leaving, going to tell Grandma we were
still sleeping. I got up though. : )

Just too many pictures to share all at once, part 3 tomorrow....
