Rhi Rocks. (Last Batch)

Ok, last batch.  If you can't tell by now we had
the perfect weekend.  Great friends & so much
fun.  I feel beyond blessed to be part of this group
and also that my Mom & John are so generous to 
let us borrow their lovely home.  


 


















 
 
















The weekend was a blast, literally.  
Thank you to everyone involved, 
it wouldn't of been the same without you.

Just now getting to look at this, Sarah. Man remembering all the fun is almost overwhelming!!! It was such a blast. I am so thankful that we all did this together and that we had your mom's wonderful home in LC for the backdrop. Gosh, it was AMAZING! I'm so thankful for your friendship and that of the rest of the group too. Can't wait to see you all again soon :)

I began potty training Ava right around the time she turned one. I broke out the potty and began encouraging away. She faked interest in the beginning but soon it became apparent that the child was a little hopeless, to say the least. Throughout the year that followed I realized that this strong willed child would need a little more time, as well as mom backing the heck off. Before she turned two I came across a blog a mom was writing who made a bold statement of parents simply being lazy if they aren't potty training their kids very quickly. I was so mad about when I read that but also felt like maybe she was right all at the same time. It motivated me to simply take away Ava's diapers and sort of force her into being ready. I spent the entire day encouraging her as she had accident after accident. She managed to pee in her potty about 4 times and everywhere else about 347 times. I was so stressed out, so was she. New Pool!

We just got a new pool, the kids are pretty excited.  They've spent a lot of time playing in it already.  These were all taken right after we finished blowing it up.  : ) So much fun!

Birthday Fun

Here we have it, little chick turned 4. It was a fun day packed full of all the  things Ava loves, family, friends,  playing, eating sweets, the day couldn't  of been more perfect. Love our little four year old!! This is going to be a great year. Happy Birthday Baby Girl!
