The annual Halloween party

Every year of Ava's life, and Norah's as well, we have attended a great Halloween party at Auntie Jessica's work.  She hasn't worked there the last two years, but that hasn't stopped us!  We are grateful that they still invite us back!  (Or Jessica convinces them to, whatever the case may be...)
Sadly, I forgot my real camera.  I was having one of those days.  In fact, most of the day I was convinced Norah would not be allowed to go.  She was in full on fit mode all morning.  I vowed that unless she took a nap, I was not taking her.  (She refused the first attempt while Ava was at school)
She did reluctantly get a quick nap in, so all was forgiven.  Except now all we have is blurry pictures.  I'm blaming it on her, she threw off my day.  : )
Fortunately we will have three days in total for photos in these costumes so it's not too tragic.

This party was fantastic, it never disappoints!  All kinds of candy, crafts, games, pizza, cupcakes, even WINE.  Yay!
As many Halloween gigs as these lucky little girls get to attend I really should consider letting them have multiple costumes each year!

The only flaw with that plan is my bargain shopping would be thrown a little.  As it stands I spent about $6 on Norah's and $10 on Ava's and you can bet we will be recycling in all the candy that isn't our favorite to hand out tonight!   We do seem to have a lot of favorites though...  : )

Just for fun, here's a look back on the last 3 years at Jessica's work parties:

So fun!  Glad we have been able to keep up the tradition!

I love seeing all of their costumes through the years. And the wine? Heck yes! I wish the library event we went to had some of that :-) It would have made the craziness slightly more tolerable.
