Speed-Patching
Last year we had a fabulous trip to the pumpkin patch with Nate & Max, this year we decided to recreate that day, in photos. It didn't exactly work out...
Here are a few from last year, same place, even the same hat for Norah (you can click on the link above for a ton more)
I've always LOVED those photos.
This year I got some great shots (mostly of Norah) over at the playground area but didn't realize that we were on a time crunch and missed out on most of the pumpkin shots I had so been looking forward to.
They don't really look that different than the picture above, even though they are a year older.
We took the tractor over to the patch and instead of hanging out (which is what I thought was happening) Jessica's 4 kid crew (she brought 2 extras) grabbed a pumpkin in .2 seconds and then hopped back on the tractor, ready to head out. I think I was in shock. In retrospect I would of just said our goodbyes there, since she was on a time constrain and we were not.
I barely got any pictures of Max and I wasn't able to get a single picture of Nate, he was too busy playing with his friends. Oh well, I got a few good ones of my kiddos, and there is always the rest of October to contend with, I do love me some pumpkin patch fun!
Ava actually has a class trip on Thursday to go to one, however I am not allowed to go since they don't let Norah on the bus (I also keep forgetting to get my background check done as per school rules). Part of me wants to just show up anyway but Ava seems happy that I can't go, like it makes her feel older that she gets to ride the bus and not have her mom along to chaperone. Bah humbug I say.
Why do they grow up so fast???
