Time flies...

I can't believe it is almost Halloween.
Time flies by so quickly, before you know it
Thanksgiving will be here, then Christmas, Ava will 
turn 4 and Norah will turn 1.  Don't blink, it always seems
this time of year stands still for nothing.


 Our calendar fills up so quickly, I just want it all to slow down.
I want to soak in the little time left I have of Ava being 3 and 
Norah being our little baby.  

On the other hand, I love all these holidays and it will be 
fun to experience them with the girls at these ages.

I just want to bottle up their cuteness, but for now I shall at least
share it with you...

 Ava is such a good sister.
She keeps asking to hold Norah lately. 
 Norah just seems too big for this now,
but it sure is cute to see her try.
 She also wants to feed her...
 Norah always looks at us like "Are you sure this is a good idea?"
It may not be a great idea, but it does make for cute photos. 
So there is that.

You could bottle that cuteness up and sell it, seriously! Such beautiful girls! And no, i totally cannot think about the holidays coming up...I want time to go quickly with the baby, but then again, I'm so not ready for Christmas!

Time is flying for sure...I can't believe Lillian will be 5 months tomorrow...crazy!

I began potty training Ava right around the time she turned one. I broke out the potty and began encouraging away. She faked interest in the beginning but soon it became apparent that the child was a little hopeless, to say the least. Throughout the year that followed I realized that this strong willed child would need a little more time, as well as mom backing the heck off. Before she turned two I came across a blog a mom was writing who made a bold statement of parents simply being lazy if they aren't potty training their kids very quickly. I was so mad about when I read that but also felt like maybe she was right all at the same time. It motivated me to simply take away Ava's diapers and sort of force her into being ready. I spent the entire day encouraging her as she had accident after accident. She managed to pee in her potty about 4 times and everywhere else about 347 times. I was so stressed out, so was she. New Pool!

We just got a new pool, the kids are pretty excited.  They've spent a lot of time playing in it already.  These were all taken right after we finished blowing it up.  : ) So much fun!

Birthday Fun

Here we have it, little chick turned 4. It was a fun day packed full of all the  things Ava loves, family, friends,  playing, eating sweets, the day couldn't  of been more perfect. Love our little four year old!! This is going to be a great year. Happy Birthday Baby Girl!
