Just Playing

Ava was totally spoiled yesterday,

in the fun way, where she gets everything 

that makes her happy and she actually 

really appreciates it, love that.

First off she got some new books, one came with drumsticks

she shared those with Norah (we didn't even show her how

to hold them, she just picked them up and started drumming away:

 Since costume season is upon us I found some good

extras on Craig's List for dress up clothes, they don't 

fit yet but they do make for big smiles!

 Ava was in heaven, she loves princess dresses right now.

 Norah got a new picnic basket that Ava has totally taken over.

 Remember George?  He got in on this little picnic too.

We have been dragging toys down out of the attic lately 

that Ava had when she was a baby, it is so fun watching

her play with them now.  It is a whole different kind of 

play that comes with having an imagination rather then

just the physical ability to push buttons.

The next step is getting Ava to let Norah actually play 

with the toys too, but these things take time.

For now Ava takes everything from Norah but at least

replaces it with some other random toy to placate her.

I wonder how long Norah will let her get away with that??
