Norah's First Bath

Here are some pictures of Norah's first bath.
In truth I was less then excited to give her a bath.
Ava's first bath I was excited about and
that ended in both of us in tears.
Thankfully Norah did much better & I kept my
expectations nice and low. : )
My grumpy little baby relaxed a bit in the warm
water. She cried when I washed her face & when
I got her out and she got cold but that is
pretty much to be expected.
I wrapped her up in her appropriate little
monster towel. : )
She is a pretty cute little monster!
When it was all said and done she got to do her
favorite little monster thing to do, eat.
Since I decided to share a picture of me feeding her
I might as well show you one more,
my favorite one. Look at her little hands!
She is so sweet it just about kills me.

I need these sweet little moments, she truly is
a pretty grumpy baby so I will take any of the
happy moments I can get : )

those are some of the cutest and most tasteful feeding pics I've ever seen! Whenever she is grumpuss, just look back at those!

Adventures in Potty Training...

I began potty training Ava right around the time she turned one. I broke out the potty and began encouraging away. She faked interest in the beginning but soon it became apparent that the child was a little hopeless, to say the least. Throughout the year that followed I realized that this strong willed child would need a little more time, as well as mom backing the heck off. Before she turned two I came across a blog a mom was writing who made a bold statement of parents simply being lazy if they aren't potty training their kids very quickly. I was so mad about when I read that but also felt like maybe she was right all at the same time. It motivated me to simply take away Ava's diapers and sort of force her into being ready. I spent the entire day encouraging her as she had accident after accident. She managed to pee in her potty about 4 times and everywhere else about 347 times. I was so stressed out, so was she. New Pool!

We just got a new pool, the kids are pretty excited.  They've spent a lot of time playing in it already.  These were all taken right after we finished blowing it up.  : ) So much fun!

Birthday Fun

Here we have it, little chick turned 4. It was a fun day packed full of all the  things Ava loves, family, friends,  playing, eating sweets, the day couldn't  of been more perfect. Love our little four year old!! This is going to be a great year. Happy Birthday Baby Girl!
