12 Bridges Relay
On Saturday, bright and crazy early, I met up with my team to run the 12 Bridges Relay. It was on the Banks-Vernonia trail, such a great place to run!
It was still a little dark when we arrived these glow-in-the-dark rings were a hit!
Monica was our first runner, she quickly handed off the required head lamp as she ran past me, as at this point it was completely unnecessary.

Heather, our team captain, did such a great job organizing all of us and keeping a great attitude through the stresses along the way of getting us all here. She ran & rocked it, sick and all.
We saw a lot of our running friends along the course, which is always fun. Robin gets the award for best dressed.
Heather, Monica, Courtney and super-mama Chrissy.
Too much fun!
Exchange!
This was the point where the sun still felt good. : )
Love her perfect little pregnant belly.
Crazy ducks.
One last shot with Monica before she had to bail.
And here is where the heat was really kicking in, our team did great!
Go Chrissy!
Exchange!
Just coming in to the finish, right before we joined her in crossing the line.
Such a fun day! There is definitely something to be said about a relay that covers 65 miles and is done by 4:00pm! All the fun of a big relay, like Hood to Coast, without all the complications, logistical issues, time commitment, fatigue, and stress. This was just pure laid back fun, loved this race! Having a great team really helps too! : )
