13.1 x 2
I ended up running two half marathons over back to back weekends, the first one I took super mellow, knowing I wanted to put full effort into the second. I think people take for granted how much effort it takes to do this, they assume it's now "easy" because of all the training you've done, I assure you, it is not. Can I just say I love my running group!? They are such a great group of women. I've really enjoyed getting to know them, and really look forward to building these relationships more in the future. They are all so awesome and supportive of each other. Sunday morning we raced the Vancouver Lake Half, which is a flat, strange course that keeps bringing you near the finish line then takes you back out again. Hopes up, and then...no. ...
