Mother's Day Weekend
Mother's day started out in my very favorite way, a race! The only unfortunate part was that I had to get up at 5 am to volunteer at the race before it started, it was with a bunch of friends though, so it was still fun and totally worth it!

It was the Run Like a Mother race and my running group organized the whole thing, pretty awesome! Here I am with Melanie, last time we raced together was Vernonia, so it was super fun to run with her again. Also her family has a cool tradition of doing this race together, she had about 15 or more of her people in the race too! Love it!
Andie was there, she got pushed by two of my friends, and sang the National Anthem before the race started too!
We are working on a virtual race to raise money for a new racing chair for her soon.
Courtney & Heather, we represent half of our 12 bridges relay team, that's later this month.
I was super grateful that since the race was early, and just a 5k, I was able to still make it to church, even a little early. Jessica took the girls over night (which they LOVED) and met us there, it was perfect!
Love my Lauren.
Jessica & Noah, oh my heart.
Vashi joined us too!! So fun!
I got to hold my little sweetie pie while Lauren got back on stage for the first time after having him. So great to have her back up there singing. He loved it too. Every time she sung he relaxed and fell asleep, as they paused between songs or talked he would wake back up and look displeased. Ha!
I got to spend the afternoon relaxing and hanging with John and the girls. Ava was excited for them to shower me with love & gifts (many of them hand made by her at school).
The day before, on Saturday, we had a little lunch celebration up at Mom's house, that was really nice. Great food and fun to get the whole family together.
Mother's Day evening Jessica took Mom, D'Auna and I out to a very fancy
dinner! It was so fun and super delicious!! We had a great time!
The whole weekend was just wonderful, I feel so blessed and surrounded by love.
