Norah's Baby Shower

On Saturday several very awesome people threw a baby shower
for me & Norah.

Here are a few of them:

This is thee Linda, the most awesome Aunt who
recently saved my life.
Jessica, Billy & my Mom were all in on it too.
They are all quite wonderful and make me feel so loved!!

There wasn't a really great belly shot in the bunch so
I figured I would include one that was taken today.
I know you people love to make fun of my huge belly : )
(YIKES!!)
A big thank you to all that came to the shower and
to my Sister who is super awesome and put so much time
and detail into making it perfect. It was
so nice to see everyone & celebrate little Norah.
She may not of arrived yet but I can tell that she is
already so very loved.

As we pulled away from Linda's house Ava in a panic says
"Wait! Norah wasn't at the shower!!"

I think she was under the impression she was going to
arrive at the party, I personally think that would of been
a little awkward... : )

I began potty training Ava right around the time she turned one. I broke out the potty and began encouraging away. She faked interest in the beginning but soon it became apparent that the child was a little hopeless, to say the least. Throughout the year that followed I realized that this strong willed child would need a little more time, as well as mom backing the heck off. Before she turned two I came across a blog a mom was writing who made a bold statement of parents simply being lazy if they aren't potty training their kids very quickly. I was so mad about when I read that but also felt like maybe she was right all at the same time. It motivated me to simply take away Ava's diapers and sort of force her into being ready. I spent the entire day encouraging her as she had accident after accident. She managed to pee in her potty about 4 times and everywhere else about 347 times. I was so stressed out, so was she. At one point she peed on the floor and looked up at me...

New Pool!

We just got a new pool, the kids are pretty excited.  They've spent a lot of time playing in it already.  These were all taken right after we finished blowing it up.  : ) So much fun!

Birthday Fun

Here we have it, little chick turned 4. It was a fun day packed full of all the  things Ava loves, family, friends,  playing, eating sweets, the day couldn't  of been more perfect. Love our little four year old!! This is going to be a great year. Happy Birthday Baby Girl!
