Seattle, in a Weekend

We just got back from a lovely visit with John's Sister's
in Seattle. We love visiting his family,
it is always such an enjoyable experience.
Ava was is heaven having all her cousins doting on her.
She got to decorate a crazy amount of cookies, the girl loves her sprinkles : )
Check out that view out their dining room window!
Tommy
Karli even came home from college for the weekend to join in the fun.
We were most excited to see Brianna.  We are so impressed at her amazing recovery following her recent horrific car accident.  We feel very blessed to have her alive and well.
Celia's home is so warm & welcoming.  I love all the beautiful Christmas decor.

Karl's friend paddle boarding with his dog on the lake.
This girl was CRAZY the whole trip.  I think she lost her mind somewhere between having so many people spoil her, endless amounts of sugar and her natural love of being defiant.

Karli
Norah really liked Tommy.  She also thought his water dish was great fun!
We bundled up and went to 3 of Kole's Lacrosse games.
John playing peek a boo behind Anne with Norah.
Ava & Erik
Silly goose.
Kole, the Lacrosse super star.
After the game we went to the mall to see "Snowflake Lane"
which was a fun Christmas themed parade for Ava.

It was beyond crazy, traffic, parking issues, then so many
people you couldn't actually see anything.
We decided bail & make a run for it even though Ava
was in tears saying she didn't get to see the princesses.
I thought the whole thing was a complete
failure until we headed to the elevator and ran right into
exactly the people Ava was trying to see in the parade!

She got to meet two princesses!
She even got to hold one of their wands!
Ava was super happy!  Success!!
Afterward we went home and had a nice dinner with the whole family.
On our way out of town we went to our 3rd Lacrosse game.
It was super cold outside but it's really fun watching Kole play!

Beautiful Celia holding Norah

Kate : )
She is so good with the kids!
We had such a great trip.  We really need to make it to Seattle more often!
Thank you Celia & Karl for your wonderful hospitality!
We love you ALL so much!!
