Lilee & Alayah

Today we had a nice little playdate with Lilee-Belle
& Alayah.

Lilee just turned one the other day and I took a ton of
pictures at her party. They were mostly pink frosting
covered cuteness, way too much fun.
She was looking a little cleaner today :)

Lilee is doing really well with her walking, getting pretty
steady. My favorite thing is her constant little chatter.
She has all kinds of things to say, they just don't make
any sense, at least to us : )

Ava did really well playing with Lilee,
she was very patient, loving & helpful.
Sleepy little newborns, always getting their
rest so they can keep you up at night...

D'Auna is doing so well, she is a great mommy.

This is a little something I made for Lilee's
first birthday, I love it!
It is so fun to get together with other moms, hang out
and play with our kids, I'm so glad D'Auna is part of all that now!
What a fun day!

Adventures in Potty Training...

I began potty training Ava right around the time she turned one. I broke out the potty and began encouraging away. She faked interest in the beginning but soon it became apparent that the child was a little hopeless, to say the least. Throughout the year that followed I realized that this strong willed child would need a little more time, as well as mom backing the heck off. Before she turned two I came across a blog a mom was writing who made a bold statement of parents simply being lazy if they aren't potty training their kids very quickly. I was so mad about when I read that but also felt like maybe she was right all at the same time. It motivated me to simply take away Ava's diapers and sort of force her into being ready. I spent the entire day encouraging her as she had accident after accident. She managed to pee in her potty about 4 times and everywhere else about 347 times. I was so stressed out, so was she. At one point she peed on the floor and looked up at me...

New Pool!

We just got a new pool, the kids are pretty excited.  They've spent a lot of time playing in it already.  These were all taken right after we finished blowing it up.  : ) So much fun!

Birthday Fun

Here we have it, little chick turned 4. It was a fun day packed full of all the  things Ava loves, family, friends,  playing, eating sweets, the day couldn't  of been more perfect. Love our little four year old!! This is going to be a great year. Happy Birthday Baby Girl!
