From the Phone

Billy got Norah her first tulle.
It was sort of hard to stop taking pictures of her in it.
But you know how I am...
I hardly matters what she is wearing,
it's pretty much guaranteed I'm gonna take photos.
Sadly I had misplaced my camera and was
without it for about a week. Thankfully I have
my phone, otherwise I would of been so lost.

In our recent LC adventures we went down to
the sand several times. I didn't take very many
pictures but I did take a few.
Norah really did have so much fun this time.
She happily watched the other kids play
and seemed totally content with me keeping
her up & out of the sand.
(I'm so mean!)
We heard about this art festival going on in Taft
so we were all excited to go to it. Turns out
it was SUPER lame. There were about 6 booths
and 7 of them were a disaster. : )

So we hit the sand again.
Carmen & Ava, so cute!
I'm proud to say I took one picture of something
other then my children:
Ok, back to the kids, we got to meet Seren!!!
Rhi's beautiful little baby girl, we are so happy
for the Uppy family!
We had a great time,
as you know, I LOVE me a good beach trip!!

That tutu is adorable! She already looks so much bigger than at the wedding! Isn't it crazy how fast time flies?! Looks like you had a wonderful time at the beach! :)

Adventures in Potty Training...

I began potty training Ava right around the time she turned one. I broke out the potty and began encouraging away. She faked interest in the beginning but soon it became apparent that the child was a little hopeless, to say the least. Throughout the year that followed I realized that this strong willed child would need a little more time, as well as mom backing the heck off. Before she turned two I came across a blog a mom was writing who made a bold statement of parents simply being lazy if they aren't potty training their kids very quickly. I was so mad about when I read that but also felt like maybe she was right all at the same time. It motivated me to simply take away Ava's diapers and sort of force her into being ready. I spent the entire day encouraging her as she had accident after accident. She managed to pee in her potty about 4 times and everywhere else about 347 times. I was so stressed out, so was she. New Pool!

We just got a new pool, the kids are pretty excited.  They've spent a lot of time playing in it already.  These were all taken right after we finished blowing it up.  : ) So much fun!

Birthday Fun

Here we have it, little chick turned 4. It was a fun day packed full of all the  things Ava loves, family, friends,  playing, eating sweets, the day couldn't  of been more perfect. Love our little four year old!! This is going to be a great year. Happy Birthday Baby Girl!
