Here are just a bunch of random photos from
recent days.

This was taken on Father's Day, so cute,
hanging with dad, playing video games.
She's a rock star!
And oh so dramatic...
It's hard sharing your people.
Linda is quite smitten with little miss Norah.
But what's not to love?
Ava got her first taste of boys chasing her & teasing
her at the park the other day, much older boys.
Strange that they would even waste their time with
a three year old.
I don't think she thought anything of it,
why wouldn't they want to play with me right?
She ended up with her favorite guy.
Here are the girls, playing on our bed.
I think it is so cute the way Ava takes care of Norah.
Here she is helping Norah sooth her little teeth.
And the littlest one just can't get enough of Ava.
The best sound in the world to me is Ava making
Norah laugh. She can really get her going until
we are all in tears laughing so hard.
Gotta love that. : )

Adventures in Potty Training...

I began potty training Ava right around the time she turned one. I broke out the potty and began encouraging away. She faked interest in the beginning but soon it became apparent that the child was a little hopeless, to say the least. Throughout the year that followed I realized that this strong willed child would need a little more time, as well as mom backing the heck off. Before she turned two I came across a blog a mom was writing who made a bold statement of parents simply being lazy if they aren't potty training their kids very quickly. I was so mad about when I read that but also felt like maybe she was right all at the same time. It motivated me to simply take away Ava's diapers and sort of force her into being ready. I spent the entire day encouraging her as she had accident after accident. She managed to pee in her potty about 4 times and everywhere else about 347 times. I was so stressed out, so was she. At one point she peed on the floor and looked up at me...

New Pool!

We just got a new pool, the kids are pretty excited.  They've spent a lot of time playing in it already.  These were all taken right after we finished blowing it up.  : ) So much fun!

Birthday Fun

Here we have it, little chick turned 4. It was a fun day packed full of all the  things Ava loves, family, friends,  playing, eating sweets, the day couldn't  of been more perfect. Love our little four year old!! This is going to be a great year. Happy Birthday Baby Girl!
