Beach Trip: Day 2 & 3

On day 2 Billy came and joined us.
She really wanted to come but was a little
over whelmed at the thought of bringing 4 kids
to the beach by herself. I agreed, sounded more
like work then a restful beach trip.

She ended up making it into a mini-vacation
and just brought baby Zech.

Ava was thrilled, let me at that little baby!
He was such a little angel.
I want a baby like that : )
Here are the kids playing in the rocks.
It is the perfect little spot to play.
With weather like this, we had to sneak down to the beach.

Here is Colton, looking sweet as ever:
John's sister Anne came to visit us too.
She has been living in India for the last 7 months.
She writes a blog about her experiences there
if you want to check it out: Anne in India

Anne has taken some cooking classes on how
to make Indian food while living there.
She was nice enough to spend the entire day
preparing this fabulous meal!
I wish this blog had a smell & taste feature.
You would be in for a real treat!

Doesn't it all just look so delicious??
Billy brought a bottle of an amazing wine
to accompany our perfect dinner.

Wish we could keep her.

Ava catches on fast : )
Lily looks worried.
I let Ava stay down on the beach as long as she wanted.
She stayed until it got pretty late and then
announced she was ready to go back to the beach house.
Bayli volunteered to take her up.
Apparently she kept saying over and over how she didn't
want to go to bed as she started drooling and then fell asleep
on Bayli's shoulder as she carried her up to her crib.

That girl has got my fight to stay up late, that is for sure!
Nether one of us ever want to miss a thing.

I am glad she can hang,
wouldn't want her to sleep through such a fun 4th of July!
