Norah is changing so quickly! She is crawling at warp speeds now, pulling herself up on anything she can and scooting around all the furniture. She is also exploring a LOT, or looking for trouble as I see it. No one's looking right?? I yelled "NORAH!!" at her, then she noticed me watching, guilty little smile... Right back at it.  This is sooo her right now.  Super cute, happy and totally covered in drool. Love her.

Busy, busy.

This is going to be a great week! Our family is celebrating Thanksgiving in Government Camp  this year.  We are leaving tomorrow to get the house ready & Wednesday the family will begin to arrive. There is a ton of packing, list writing, shopping & baking to accomplish today. So much to do I need lists for my lists.   Wish me luck.   I better get to work. I hope everyone has a truly blessed week! Here are a few of the people I am most thankful for:  Love them.

Ava's First Haircut!

Well I decided it was happening.  For some reason she wasn't going to give. I tried every tactful way of convincing her. Nothing was working. Finally I just told her "Look, we are getting it cut. You have 3 choices, I do it, Carmen does it or we go to a special kid place and they do it." Well just as I suspected she picked the...

I love this time of year. We are making all our final plans for the Thanksgiving holiday. It is so beautiful outside with all the pretty, colorful leaves clinging to their last days. We have so much to be thankful for. Every night before I fall asleep I go over my list of all my blessings. That list is so long! And I know I am always missing so many things. We are very lucky. Could they be more adorable? Love these crazy girls. They crack me up. Bubbles! Helping mommy cook. With her prince. All over the place. I am really enjoying cooking right now, focusing on hot, hearty soups & stews. Tis that time of year.   This is one of my new favorites right now, Carrot Ginger Soup . This recipe is divine, you should make it right now!  I love food photography, clearly I'm not the only one.  : ) This time of year always goes by so quickly. I'm just really trying to slow it down and  soak in life ...
